What would it cost to get an Overseas Filipino Worker home?

You may have thought that with the Philippine economy steadily growing the desire to return home soon was growing.  That may not be the case as most OFWs want to build up a sizeable nest egg before making the move!

Cash is king!

The survey also revealed that OFWs earn an average of 50,000 PHP per month and manage to save 13,000 of that each month.  On that basis it would take about 18 years for them to feel stable enough to return, and even then many say they would not return permanently.
